The problem
Creators and their lawyers must show who had a work first, and when, without handing over the file. A “poor man’s copyright” envelope proves little; a bare blockchain stamp has no legal presumption in the EU; US registration costs $45–85 and takes about four months.
WIPO PROOF, the closest precedent, stopped new issuance in 2022. Our lesson: a timestamp alone is not a business. It needs legal weight, a workflow and B2B buyers.
The product
Each package has six layers: fingerprint, signature, qualified timestamp, Bitcoin anchor, long-term validation data and US declaration templates (FRE 902(13)/(14)).
Why now
- Amended eIDAS (EU 2024/1183) brings digital identity wallets that can create qualified e-signatures to every member state by end-2026 and adds qualified electronic ledgers.
- Generative AI makes “I made this first” harder to show, so signed, dated evidence matters more. We are testing this pain; a competitor already sells AI-use declarations.
Market, bottom-up
No sourced top-down figure exists for this niche, so the plan is built from funnel, conversion and churn. Under conservative assumptions, at end-2032: 13,800 paying individuals (visual artists first, independent musicians second), 3,100 small firms (IP law, agencies, publishers) and 235 API accounts.
Business model (planned)
| Plan | Planned price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Signature and witness |
| Plus | $15/mo | Qualified timestamps |
| Pro | $39/mo | Higher quota, API key |
| Team/Legal | $249/mo | 5 seats, 40 proofs a month |
| API | $1,500/mo + usage | Publishers, agencies |
Paid ads do not pay back for individuals (acquisition about $137); they grow through shareable verification pages. Team/Legal lifetime value is well above acquisition cost.
Target gross margin about 75% at scale (assumption).
Go-to-market
People cannot demand something they cannot yet imagine. Our first job is to make creators realise they need this.
So awareness comes first: content, communities and the verification-page loop.
- Validate, Q4 2026 to Q1 2027: interviews, priced waitlist, closed and paid open beta.
- Grow, Q2 2027 to Q2 2028: awareness at scale; direct sales to IP firms and agencies.
- Scale, from Q3 2028: API partnerships with publishers and asset platforms.
Regulatory path
EU: the legal presumption comes from the qualified timestamp (eIDAS Art. 41(2)); proofs are signed with the user’s passkey. GDPR: the file stays on the device; we process two fingerprints and account data. US: packages include FRE 902(13)/(14) templates, and the offer rests on Copyright Office filing, not on the blockchain.
Phase 3 (Ethereum record, co-ownership record) needs a licensed partner and opinions under Howey, FINMA and MiCA. A Phase 2 utility token is planned and will be issued when the beta starts; it is not a financing instrument; issuance follows legal review (MiCA, US securities).

Valuation and use of capital
Use of capital: product and engineering 25%, go-to-market 23%, legal and compliance 21%, founder and operations 20%, security reviews 3%, reserve 8%.
Legal and compliance (21%), first item: legal counsel in every target jurisdiction (EU, US, Switzerland) on the evidentiary standing of digital signatures and timestamps, plus token and co-ownership structuring.
This capital funds: Phase 0 exit criteria (500+ waitlist sign-ups, 30% of interviewees already spending on the problem, 10% pre-order clicks), company formation, legal opinions, a timestamp provider contract, external code review, paid open beta and first B2B customers.
The Phase 1 test (at least 1,000 paying users or about $117k ARR (€100k)) gates the next round. Company to be incorporated in the United States (Delaware).

Roadmap
Phases: 0 validation (interviews, waitlist) · 1 proof package (open beta, GA) · 2 token · 3 Ethereum record and co-ownership record (licensed partner).
- Q4 2026Company, opinions, contracts, closed beta
- Q1 2027Paid open beta; token (with the beta)
- Q2 2027Launch in the EU, US and Switzerland
- Q3 2027Team/Legal and API plans
- Q2 2028Phase 1 test: 1,000 payers or about $117k ARR (€100k)
- H2 2028Phase 3: Ethereum record, co-ownership pilots (licensed partner)
- 2029SOC 2 and ISO 27001
Risks and mitigations
- Demand: the closest precedent closed.
- Phase 0 exit criteria, priced waitlist, quarterly decision gates, early shift to B2B.
- Solo founder; most code awaits human review.
- Second maintainer and external code review before beta.
- Regulation: evidentiary weight varies by country.
- Opinions in target jurisdictions before beta; a licensed partner for Phase 3; the US offer rests on Copyright Office filing.
- Timestamp provider: no contract yet.
- A primary and a backup provider; API pricing indexed to timestamp cost.
The plan assumes a paid open beta on 1 January 2027, which is aggressive; under conservative assumptions, a one-quarter slip cuts 2027 revenue from $0.14M to $0.08M.
